Algeria vs Nigeria: Most players already in Rabat camp, Morocco
Ahead of the inconsequential World Cup qualifier game in Algiers this week, the Super Eagles are already making their selves available for training in Rabat Morocco.
Gernot Rohr’s men will face Algeria in the inconsequential World Cup qualifier in Algiers this Friday.
Alex Iwobi and Kenneth Omeruo are the latest to join the Nigeria camp in Rabat Morocco.
Those expected in camp on Tuesday includes the Super Eagle’s captain John Mikel Obi, Francis Uzoho and Daniel Akpeyi.
Players already camp includes Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi, Mikel Agu and goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa, along with the coaching staff.
Omeruo, who is already in camp on the standby list has been asked to replace Ogenyi Onazi.
Player who were ruled out of the game includes China-based striker, Odion Ighalo and Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses.
The Eagles have already qualified for Russia 2018 after winning four of their five qualifiers to lead Group B, which also houses African champions, Cameroon and Zambia, on 13 points.
However, Rohr has said he will field a strong team for the Constantine encounter at Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui.
On Saturday, the Nigerian team will fly aboard a chartered flight to Krasnodar for a friendly against Argentina.
