Demolish church where Texas massacre occurred

The desire of the pastor is to build a monument in honor of the 26 fatalities.

The Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs (Texas, USA) will be demolished because it would be “too painful” to continue using it as a place of worship, said Pastor Frank Pomeroy, who lost his daughter Anabelle in the massive shooting.

In this regard, the spokesman of the Southern Baptist Convention, Sing Oldham, said that the desire of Pastor Pomeroy is to turn the place into a memorial to the 26 people who lost their lives, and build a new temple on another land owned by the church.

Devin P. Kelley, 26, burst into the Baptist church last Sunday, where he shot point blank at children and adults, leaving 20 wounded.
