Why Tekno didn’t retaliate despite being assaulted by Wizkid’s manager
Following reports that Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are assaulted Tekno at the just concluded One Africa Music Festival in Dubai, there were speculations that Tekno and his management will drag Sunday Are to court over the assault. However, Tekno’s management says they have all moved on.
Wizkid’s manager assaulted Tekno whose real name is Augustine Miles Kelechi in Dubai. And according to reports, Tekno’s manager Ubi Franklin stopped Tekno’s boys from attacking Are.
Speaking with Goldmyne TV, Ubi Franklin said it is normal for artistes to fight each other, adding that they will always settle things afterwards.
He told Goldmyne TV, “I was there. Tekno had an issue with Sunday Are and the whole thing aggravated. The truth is I don’t want to talk about it because we have sorted it out and we have all moved on. It is a ‘dead’ issue; I don’t want to make it sound like I am the one trying to raise it. You know my responsibility is to chase after money.”
“If they want to fight, they should fight. When they are done fighting, we will still come together and make money. My work is to make money even while they are fighting.”
