A few months ago, Google announced that it was working on creating its own Adblocker (tool to block advertisements on the Internet) to integrate it directly into your browser, and now we know when it will arrive. The native Chrome Adblocker will be available on February 15.
This means that, once updated to the version of Chrome that will include it, the browser will automatically block the most annoying ads, such as those that play sound without warning, which force you to wait a few seconds before you can access one page, pop-ups and others.
The intention of Google is “to help combat invasive and aggressive advertising”, in addition to obviously take care of your own advertising business. On January 23 Google will update Chrome to version 24 and the next update is scheduled for March, which means that the Adblocker will arrive in January and the company will activate it on February 15.
The battle of the browsers becomes more and more interesting, with Chrome implementing its own Adblocker and automatically silencing the videos that play alone, while Mozilla surprised us with a new version of Firefox that is extremely fast.
