Nigeria falls slitly in latest FIFA ranking (See top ten)

Last month, Nigeria’s Super Eagles first team ranking was at the 50th position and it doesn’t seem to be getting better soon as it has now dropped one place.

This month, December, Gernot Rohr’s first team is ranked at number 9 in the continent of Africa and ranked 51st globally, according to FIFA.

The ranking which was released by FIFA on Thursday has Germany, Brazil and Portugal at the top three spots.

Argentina and Belgium completed the top five and 2018 World Cup hosts Russia placed at 64th position globally.
