Pique toasts to a Clasico win with €5,300 bottles of wine

There was a cause to celebrate in the Pique household on Saturday night as Barcelona’s 3-0 win at Real Madrid was reason enough to crack open three bottles of wine, totalling 5,300 euros.

“Today it’s worth it,” wrote the Barcelona star on Instagram, along with a picture of his selected beverages.

According to specialist website Vivino, Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair La Romanee Grand Cru Monopole 2008 has an estimated price of 3,360 euros, the Château Latour Grand Vin Pauillac Premier Grand Cru Classé 2000 has an estimated price of 1,495 euros and the Vega Sicilia Cosecha 1996 Unico has an estimated price of 479 euros.
