Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have teamed up to demand Barcelona sell Andre Gomes this month, according to reports.
Barcelona haven’t finished their business in the January transfer window just yet.
Philippe Coutinho and Yerry Mina have both arrived from Liverpool and Palmeiras respectively.
But there is expected to be an influx of players leaving to free up some funds.
Arda Turan has already left on a loan deal to Istanbul Basaksehir.
And the likes of Javier Mascherano, Rafinha, Gerard Deulofeu and Aleix Vidal are all expected to join the Turkey international out the door at the Nou Camp.
However, according to Diario Gol , both Messi and Suarez have demanded Barcelona cash in on Andre Gomes this month as well.
The 24-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Barcelona since joining from Valencia in 2016.
He featured heavily under Luis Enrique last season but has only started three La Liga matches this term.
And it is reported Messi and Suarez are hoping that Coutinho’s arrival earlier this month will push for someone to come in to sign Andre Gomes.
However, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague claimed last week Ernesto Valverde remains keen to keep the Portugal international.
“Valverde wants to keep Andre Gomes,” Balague said.
“His agent, Jorge Mendes, has told Barcelona that he would like to move on but Valverde wants to keep him. That’s what is coming from Barcelona.”
