Samsung rebrands Opera Max, the app that saves data is now called Samsung Max

A while ago, Opera announced that it was leaving Opera Max, its popular app to save data. Six months after, Samsung itself has branded it.
Samsung Max is the new name of the data saving app which is now available for download on Google Play, but not for all Android devices.

Samsung Max, exclusive for Samsung devices
While Opera Max was available for any Android device, Samsung Max will be used on only Samsung devices. In addition, this app will come as standard in Galaxy A and Galaxy J from India, Argentina, Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, Nigeria, South Africa, Thailand and Vietnam.

Under the new Samsung Max interface, users can use their data saving mode to limit the mobile data consumptions. Also, there will be statistics to see which applications are consuming more data.

But that’s not all, Samsung Max also allows you to stop the execution of applications in the background and improve privacy when we connect to public networks or preventing applications from spying on us. Download the App from Google Play.
