The Chinese company, Xiaomi has been left out of the Mobile World Congress and so decided to keep the presentation of its new flagship for March 27, coinciding with the launch date of one of its most anticipated phones of the year, the Huawei P20 .
Actually, Xiaomi will not present a new device, nor a successor to the Xiaomi Mix 2, but an improved version that will add an “S” to its model name. According to the leaks, the phone might have an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Confirmed specs include only Snapdragon 845, as the company revealed in an official poster. If the leaked image is real, the finger should be positioned in the lower central part of the screen. It might also be just a request for the user to place his finger on the proper scanner on the back, as it does on the stock Android lock screen. At this point, we are just speculating and truth will be unveiled in the end of March.
