As an avid gamer of portable devices, it would be presumed that smartphones and their apps stores, packed with millions of games, would be the ideal device for you. But part of you still craves physical buttons like the ones Game Boy had.
The “Wanle Gamers Console For iPhone” does not have such a resounding name, and its use of an old, segmented LCD screen to play brick games such as Tetris and Snake, is not at all impressive either.
The case seems to be reminiscent of the days of Tiger Electronics’ low-tech handheld games, which are incredibly “gross” under current gaming parameters. But these games still managed to catch my attention for hours as a child. And that’s probably why I remember them so well. And, of course, I’m happy to recreate that experience.
What the Wanle Gamers Console case has that my Tiger’s did not have is a smartphone with all its functions. So I guess when I get tired of stacking blocks, I can just visit my favorite social networks and vice versa.
This $ 25 (8,000 naira) case mimics the original Gameboy, and you can switch from game to game with ease.
Fully compatible with the iPhone 6, 6s, 6plus, 7, 7plus, 8, 8plus, and X, the Wanle Gamers Console also won’t inhibit your connectivity.
