A new study shows that 60 grams of nuts improves the health of your sperm.
Nuts are one of the foods with more positive properties that can be taken as a snack. A clinical study has shown that another benefit of this nut is to improve the quality of sperm.
According to the study carried out by the Rovira i Virgili University, those who ate 60 grams of walnuts for 14 weeks improved the sperm count, as well as the amount of sperm. They had more and better semen.
The study of 119 men with an age of between 18 and 35 years separated the group in two, one maintained their life habits, while the other group incorporated almonds, hazelnuts and walnuts. In total the group that took the nuts improved the quality of their sperm by 16% on average. The sperm had an improved mobility by 6%.
However, nuts are not the only foods that are good for fertility. Others such as seafood, vegetables, fruits and a low-fat diet are also linked in improving the quality of sperm.
