I Joined Cult To Secure Employment On Graduation — Suspect

Chinedu Emenike, a suspected cult member who was arrested by the local security operatives attached to Michael Okpara University of Agriculture has been handed over to Nigeria Police Force at Umuahia Area Command.

The suspect who confessed joining a cult group is said to be a former student of the said school.

According to Emenike, his joining a cult group was to enable him secure employment after graduation.

The suspected cult member who was paraded by the Abia State Commissioner of Police, Mr Anthony Ogbizi, blamed the devil for his involvement in cultism.

The suspect added that he dropped out of the Rivers State Polytechnic when he had no financial sponsor.

He however maintained that his membership as an Aye Confraternity member on campus, was to help him secure a job or get contracts through other members of the cult.
